hey everyone, just saying hi, picked up my first contour last week. I live in the Scranton area but spend my weekends in Allentown. Hope to see a few fellow ceg'ers sometime. GL to everyone

Welcome! What kind of 'tour (year, color, etc.) did ya get? I'm not far from Allentown, so maybe I'll see you cruising on by.

its a silver 98 SE Sport with a SUPPOSED SVT powertrain, that remains to be verified yet though. But it does move.

Guy i bought it off of swapt the motor and tranny at 90K, he claims to have replaced it with an SVT motor/tranny. It does have the same duratec cover as the real SVT's but that doesnt really mean anything. I'm hoping to find a serial number on the block and run that. So thats why i say "supposed". I don't wanna run around saying I have an SVT powered contour if it turns out that I really don't.
