Is is anywhere in the car? Does anyone know how I can find out?

You need to take out the driver seat. Make sure you get the seatbelt out first.

Then pull up on the carpet and there will be a small metal plate on the floorboard. It'll have the born date and production number.

Ok. Ok. Call Ford SVT. They'll send you the certificate that will show all the info you want, including the production number. I think the number is 1-800-FordSVT, but that's just a guess since my mind is blank right now. You can also use the nifty little search button on top and I'm sure you'll get the right number.

When you call, you will need the VIN. You may also need to provide proof of ownership so they may require that you FAX them the registration.

I think you only need the proof of ownership if you want them to send you the certificate. When I called just to get my production # all they wanted was my VIN #.

I would have left it just like that!!!

They obviously would have believed you because they are too lazy to even look for the answer themselves.

Then again being that lazy they probably would have made up a number and said they found it under the seat like you told them...

2000 SVT #674 13.47 @ 102 - All Motor! It was not broke; Yet I fixed it anyway.
