After i lowered my car i noticed that sometimes the steering wheel just jerks around a bit. Is this a normal side effect of lowering a car? I also put svt rims on at the same time car is a 99 se v6 mtx
This should probably go in the suspension forum too huh?

Yes the car will wander & follow the ruts in the road a little. It's worse with BFG KDW's.

This could also be the new suspension settling in. My friend's Jetta was haywire for the first half of the day after lowering it. If you haven't already, get it aligned. My car doesn't jerk anywhere. What kind of springs/struts did you get?

this work was done a year and a half ago and it did it for the first few weeks after the work was done. I haven't been driving it because I moved but it has roush springs and st200s struts. I also put SVT wheels and tires on but the tires that were on those rims are pretty worn down Kumho Ecsta's. New tires will probably help a lot

No. It's because you can't afford it and need excuses. The wandering isn't very noticible. The benefit of a good suspension far out weight the slight negative.
