My blower motor quit working on my 96 2.5 SE. The fuse had blown a couple of times before, so I opened the fuse panel to replace it. I found that the fuse (#37) had completely burned up leaving the actual metal fuse part intact and unblown. The platic part of the fuse and a small amount of the fusebox had melted, and the fuse did not blow. Weird. I'm gonna have to look for a new fusebox now, but does anybody think it may be another problem such as the switch, resistor, relay, motor, etc. before I melt down another fusebox?

Could something like this be worth looking into?

i was told by the dealer that there was a recall on the switch on my 98.5. it might apply to ur car too and since its failure may have caused it the dealer may cover the cost of ur fuse box repair. worth a shot. goodluck
