If my car is sitting idle, and I have to turn the steering wheel, the front makes this weird thumping noise while I'm turning the wheel almost as if there is a spring attached to my front wheels making that noise, it only happens when my car is sitting at one place. any ideas?  Haroon

No idea, but it may be a good idea (with safety goggles & such!) to have someone or you look under there when the wheels are turned to narrow the source down.....carefully.

the sound doesn't just come if I turn the wheel all the way, it happens even if I turn it slightly, I was thinking it may be my CB or CV joints, whatever you call it. I'm not sure though

I am having the same issue. I dropped the car with the BAT/Bilstein combo. it was fine for a week, the next week i raised the front end and after i drove it the next day it started thumping. I thought it might be those rubber hats on top of the towers, but i havent verified.
Anybodody else had this issue yet?

Have you had anyone take a look at the lower control arms? I had to replace mine. Works OK now. I

I just changed my struts, springs, and insulators(those hard rubber pieces that are at the top of the strut.
But the thing that bothers me is that it started about a week after i did my front end.
I'll probably take it apart this weekend bolt by bolt.

Make sure the nut at the top of the strut is tight. If not, you can get movement and noise.

OK, I just checked the strut hat that sits in the inside of the engine bay it has a gap abaout 1/4" when i turn either left or right fully. Are these rubber pieces supposed to move when you turn? I guess ill be taking the front suspension apart this weekend and be more meticulous.
