I noticed on my way to work this morning that my auto down window function on the drivers window isn't working. Has anyone else had this problem? I did a search and couldn't find anything. Could it just be a dirty switch or something or is there something else I need to do or look at? Thanks.

Possible relay that's located in the door? Friends daughters Cougar her's went down and never came back up and dealer replaced the relay.
If they are going to spec cheap parts at least they could do is make them easily accessible!

I have a similar issue. My auto down is possesed; only works when it wants too. The relay is fine, My guess is somthing in the electric, or the regulator

when you figure it out, tell me. if it is just a special switch, then tell me. i'd like to put them on all the windows on my car, but only to work from the driver's control. i've thought of a way to do it, but if FORD's way is easier, then i'll do that.
