I've had my '98 SVT for about 2 months now and after i drove it about 600 miles i had changed the intake to a hi-flow K&N (not a drop in one) and took out the little screen thing behind the factory air filter. Well after about 100 or so miles my check engine light came on. Could this be from taking the screen out? So i disconnected the battery and it hasn't come on again yet. Did it just need to be reset for the dif. air/fuel mixture?
