Today i was at work and some guy came in looking for xylene i ask him what he was going to use it for and said he was going to put it in his gas, says its boosts the octane and cleans the injectors....is this true?
Well... I don't think I'd put straight xylene in my tank... but it IS one of the main compounds in octane boosters ( and mainly in race fuel {along with toluene} ).
Now about 'cleaning the injectors'... I dunno about that.
