So what kind of place in the general chicagoland area can I go to to get my y-pipe optimized? And if I walked in with a pic and some instuctions would they know what I'm talking about?

Or is there someone within an hour or so who'd be willing to help me do it (for some $ of course)?

Or should I hold off on the y-pipe for now and look for an svt exhaust first?

I got a quote from http://www.dudesperformance.com/ and it was OK, I cannot remember how much though. You might want to give them a call and ask. Other than that not a lot of shops in my area wanted to tackle the job.

Maybe I read inthis too much, but your sig. says you don't abbrev.

So you might want to go to a shop with a "picture".
Then you are holding out for what type of exhaust?

Oh, yeah... "SVT"
