hi
has anyone fitted or heard any reports on this kit that BAT does for the v6 duratec
thinking of ordering one but only if it is an improvment and not one of these kits that actually lose power compared to the std airbox
art

It won't lose power, but the inverse cone filter is a poor choice. On top of that, there is no shield to block engine heat, which makes it a very half assed 'cold air' intake. Plus, its a little pricey.

Do a search for 'intake' or 'heatshield' and you will find pages of discussions on the best intakes.

SHO makes one with a heat shield from what i have read that is a pretty good intake
