I replaced my Pioneer plates with some DEI 5.25 studio series comps. they sound great, I've got 75 watts going to each one. These speakers are amazing, by far the best $200 speakers you can buy. They come with a 6x8 adapter plate so they are a breeze to install. I may do my whole system in DEI if anything happens to my Cadence A5-HC or my Alumapro Alchemy subs. ANyone know anything about the DEI competition subs, I've got a DEI 2-channel pushing the comps. so I know their amps are great. DEI may be the best overall company in car audio, what do you guys think. I feel that if you use just one brand it would have to be DEI, Eclipse, Alpine, or Nak, that's one brand to cover your whole system. I know it's not a big deal, but I think it's cool when you have a system using just one brand rather than a Frankenstein like I have now.

I say a cheap freak show is better than a unibrand money pit...but that's just me.

All i can say is I saw a review for some DEI components in Carsound magazine, and the judges we're astounded at the quality of sound for such cheap speakers.

I'm a cheap freak show! Does this mean I'm good too?
