Can anyone tell me how to change the lights behind the AC/heater controls?

Pre98:
Use a Straight Screw driver and pry behind the hvac trim (ac/heater trim). There are four clips that hold this piece on.

Post97:
There is four screws under the Radio, Use a Philips Screw driver to remove them, then the hvac trim should remove fairly easily, might require a bit of prying at the top, and pulling down on the bottom half in oder to get the stereo rest out.

Final Steps:
Once you remove it, unclip the dimmer switch. now user a Philips Screw driver to remove the screws holding the hvac panel in. The bulbs are now accessible, remove the wire harnesses to get to them eaiser. There are two bulbs.

Thanks, but. Mine is a 98, newer version. There are screwes under there i tried to remove but it didn't help, can't get the panel off.

I also have a 98 and if you take the screws off then there are the 4 clips 3 on the top one on the side. It takes some yanked to get it off. I have taken mine off twice and one clip is broken from it so you might have to get some new clips but all you have to do is give it a little encouragement and it will pop out.

is changing bulbs all that is required to change the color in door switches, gueges ect as well...?
