I've got 2 Polk Audio DX12's sitting in my closet now awaiting an amp and some components. What have ya'll done for boxes? I'm debating doing two seperate corner boxes, in the rear corners of the trunk with the subs facing forward, and an amp deck between the two, this way the fold- down seats would still be usable. My roommate is an installer, so custom work isn't an issue. Any ideas on how the bass would project with this setup??

Thanks,
-Chris

im my mystique i found the best sub setup for me is having the subs facing the rear. with those subs I'd go 1 box seperate chambers, covered in matching carpet with a small amp rack right in front of the subs. that would look pretty nice...however since your roomate is an installer see if he'll fiber glass your trunk for you =)

It sounds like a good plan. I have found that the bass seems to be loudest with the subs mounted in the spare tire well or facing the rear of the trunk with the box directly behind the seat. I never tried to place them where you are considering but I'm sure they would work very well.
