OP B.I. New CEG\'er B Joined: Jan 2004 Posts: 43	Hey guys, My 99 mystique is having horn trouble. It is not working. I replaced the relay, and the horn is fine, I tested it. Now I do not know where to go from here. I need help please.

Confirm clockspring assembly in steering column is ok by checking that cruise control functions are ok. 98 Mystique LS v6 atx 163,000km 97 Contour LX v6 atx 163,000km

I was installing my new audio system over the weekend, and I had to unplug the cruise contol harness, to run my wires throught the firewall to the trunk, well I forgot to plug it back in. Big Jim_dup1 Hard-core CEG'er B Joined: Sep 2000 Posts: 4,693 Thousand Oaks, California, USA	It is the electrical buss thing that makes electrical connection between the steering wheel (which rotates) and the steering column (which is stationary). It resembles a clockspring and is so named. A real clockspring stores energy to power a manual (not electric) clock. When you wind up a clock, you tighten the clockspring.
