i ran the power wire on the opposite side of the car where the speaker wires have been ran.

That noise is from the fuel pump. There is a TSB for just about all Fords for installing a noise filter on the fuel pump assembly to keep noise from being heard in the stereo. Take the car to a dealer and have them perform that TSB on it.

If the noise increases in pitch as the rpms increase but not with the volume its alternator noise. Try relocating, or recleaning, your grounding point for amps.

Maybe, maybe not...sometimes ground noise can be weird. Did you make sure to sand down the paint to bare metal so there is a clean connection? How many amps are you running and how are they powered(distrubution?)?

hmm.. well i didnt sand the paint off to bare metal, but everything is working great. also, wont it start rusting if you do that?
im running just 1 amp. its a fosgate punch 400.4, it has a 50 amp fuse, so i used 8 gauge wire for it.

Not necessarily...its a good idea to at least sand it down a little. You don't need to actually gouge the metal just get most of the paint/primer off.

ok i sanded the paint a bit down, but it didnt do much.. thanx SQPlus for the suggestion though
but my engine noise is still not cured. isnt there anyone who had this problem and then solved it themselves??
i remember there was someone who grounded a wire in the engine compartment and that solved something
