Tonight was my first night evr going to the track and I sort-of expected more. The best I could pull out was a 18.1 in the 77mph range, I didn't feel too bad cause there was a couple cars and trucks slower than me. I'm not sure if its a slower track or if there was just some bad drivers cause this one EVO couldn't get out of the 14s. At least I was consistant and got a 2nd place trophy

You need a chip badly. Also those 17"s probably hurt you. UDP, optimized TB, and cam gears are all easy mods that will help you even more.

wow 18.1 eh? my cavalier runs 17.5 and its just a base 94 2.2...

Most cavies are slower, you got a freak. And I think without the 17"s he could do a lot better and with a chip much much better.

Maybe u would have ran alittle slower here too because it was a cavalier coupe there too running slower than me

I see that youa re from rochester, you must have went to NYIRP? If you did its a really good track. The weather hasn't been all that great for drag racing lately.
