I just got my second ticket for my exhaust(and my forth ticket for my tint) and I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good free flowing muffler that isn't that loud and won't cost any body parts.

Add a resonator in that little beast. A nice straight through design at least 18" long. You should be able to pick up a generic one for about $30 or less plus install.
Must be that jumbly-wumbly thing happening again.

I want to replace my resonator w/ a muffler & just run a straight pipe to the back w/ a tip...would this be comparable to the above noise level? I realize he has a header tho...I want it sporty but fairly quiet (not obnoxious) for long drives. I'm assuming the dynomax does minimal for noise control?

Part of the noise problem is the Pacesetter header,
louder than most headers,
atleast in my experience.

If you're looking for a nice custom setup from scratch, talk to Stazi. He'll hook you up with some Magnaflow that will sound REALLY sweet. Otherwise a resonated system from trubendz.com will work well for what you describe.
Edit: Now that I think of it, you can do EXACTLY what you're describing, then if it's too loud, you can just add another resonator or muffler at the rear to quiet it down even more.

Thanx for the thoughts but I'm basically looking for a muffler so I can cut off the one I have and get the other one welded on

I have a Dynomax race muffler in place of my resonator and a Magnaflow muffler....not too loud with the header and a nice mellow tone at idle.

These tint alws are [censored] how they vary fron state to state. Here in Michigan you cant have tint on the front windows, I do, I dont really care though, it is simply to hot in the summer to not have it. I always just put down thw windows when I see a cop.
