I'm go to order new struts soon, and was wondering which ones are the best? I'm leaning towards Koni's but want to make sure. I have H&R springs, any info would be great, thanks.

For that spring, either Koni's or Bilstiens are really your only option, tho SPAX is supposed to work with lowering springs as well, and the BAT strut is designed to work with the BAT springs.

My understanding is that the H&Rs have a higher spring rate than the BAT springs, so I would not choose those.

My $.02

Get the Koni's. Many on this site have, and are very happy with them.

i have the H&R springs and bilstein struts. it is pretty taught. i would go with the Konis, you can make them a little softer is need be. dont get me wrong i love my combo but everyone is not the same. if i did it again i would go with Koni

I still have the original struts on my csvt but I have had Koni's and Spax before. I really liked the Spax. The koni's are way too stiff. The Spax feel like the oem's until you push them, then they really perform well. they are also externally adjustable. set them low, and when they wear just turn them up, like new again. When F1 used normal shocks years ago all the better teams if not all teams used Spax exclusively. They really are a great product. I can't beleive the difference in prices. I payed more for the Spax than Koni's were selling for.

I went with the super low intrax springs with spax struts.
Very good struts at a very good price. The springs may
be too xtreme for most drivers. But it handles like a
30g sports sedan

Spax for contours are non-adjustable.
