(did a search already...)
Can someone tell me, on the 1998 Mystique with 14" hubcaps and Duratec V6 (GS model?) - did it come with ABS standard?
Also, was traction control offered? Is the suspension the same or softer than the Contour SE?
I was a bit surprised to find a V6 model with stock 14" wheels, but I guess they did come in this configuration.
Dealer has it marked down to CAD$6995, with 70,000 km on the odo. It has power windows/locks, auto, air, etc. Seems to be in good shape.
Gonna check it out later this week - but those 14" wheels will have to go in the garbage!!

I have a 98 Mystique LS. The ABS was an option and you can only get traction control if it also has ABS. I didn't want either on mine.
The 14-inch wheels were standard, although you could order the 15-inch upgrade.
Don't know on the suspension.

Ahh, Antilock Brake Systems, my excuse to everyone that im the safest driver ABS is great when your getting off the Expressway, and you see the light is green, then turns yellow, and you speed up to 60 Mph without knowing it, then brake and turn, and theres a wall.... and it was wet out, ABS got me out of a jam there Good Dependable ABS and Traction Control

ABS sux0rs! i hate it, im glad i dont have it! i feel a lot less in control when the car pumps the brakes for me, i have more control over what my vehicle does when i do it myself.

id defintly pick that car up i got mine in december for around 5 grand. its a 95 with 74 k on it. Only a couple small spots needed to be touched up for paint. The biggest pain is been goin through and doin all the tune ups and all that jazz. Ill be replacing everything since i have no idea what was done with it previously. All I know was that the previous owner was an old lady. but yeah man pick it up
