well i finally got my scanner working properly so i figured its about time i post my dyno runs from sz. remember that these runs were done on a mustang dyno. also my only real "performance" mod at the time was true duals.

here is my first pull:

I know the "correction factor" isn't popular with some here, but when you consider that his car is hitting almost 170 hp with that dreaded "correction", his SE is running with CSVT's and his times of 15.6@85 mph proves it. I tip the cap to those with SE's running so good, like Johns, good job and now we wait for the 3.0L install...then you'll be kicking my ass

who said anything about a 3L?? shhh its a secret... not really, but . ill miss the secondaries tho . i might even have to change my sn. but if anyone else remembers the other dyno plots from SZ, my se netted the highest numbers on that dyno that day for a mostly stock se. either way, se's represent nuh! and thanks for the props rog... "give him his due!"

Whats up with the peak torque being so low on the second run. If that is truely the case then.


Green 96 mystique gs 4cyl mtx 16.9 in the 1/4 mile @102500 miles 95SE in Midnight Red MTX MSDS headers and y-pipe SVT exhaust SVT UIM Optimized se TB. Full pre 98 SVT body kit 15.741 @ 87.73mph :)

I took my Cougar to a Mustang Dynomometer yesterday and thought the HP numbers seemed low. I'll be taking my CSVT up there to get a baseline to see how "Out of calibration" their Dyno is...
