I just installed magnaflow mufflers and reso in place of the stock SVT ones. My revs drop off much faster now (did TH fix long ago). {flame suit on} If I reset the computer, will it adjust back to its former level? Is the computer really on my side, or am I better off "tricking" it by making mods after it has adjusted itself. I know everyone says reset immediately, but there's no going back after I do it {flame suit off}... I wanted to throw my idea out there...

By the way, this setup is only mildly louder than stock (even at WOT). Drone inside car til 3K. Not very growly, burbly, or throaty... Still need a trusted friend to do a drive-by so I can hear from outside the car, but right now its a 7 out of 10. (better tone than Borla, and even slighty quieter)

i think even if you dont reset the computer right away, the computer will eventually learn after driving and readjust itself. someone correct me if im wrong.

As I've understood cars' computers, Jim is correct. If you don't reset it right away, it'll find out that something is different eventually.

After switching to a K&N cone filter I forgot to reset the computer. It stalled out when I'd stop at lights and what not, but it did learn eventually.
