laugh That's funny! I'm just imagining how the salespeople over at Circuit Chitty would be pushing the Bose Flashy Cubes!

I bought a pair of Kicker tweeters a couple years ago that came with small inline crossovers. Pretty much a bread board with a couple electrical components on it. One of the components is a small light bulb that the guy at the shop told me is for protecting the tweeter in case it gets too much power. He said not to mount the crossover under the dash or I'd see it flickering all the time. I took his advice and put em in the trunk, but never did watch them to see if they light up at all.

Tweeters can be mounted in the doors on a plate w/ the driver, molded into the speaker grill, surface mounted on the little sail panel inside of the side mirrors, flush mounted in the same place, molded into the far end of the door panel, etc etc. Those are the places I can remember seeing them on a Contour.. What sounds the best is debateable.

So kicker also uses that advanced tweeter protection circuitry. I'm so dissappointed in them.
