yeah so today i took the filter back they looked it up in there system and was like that is right i was like no trust me. so i went back there and grabed the right one the only one they had there was a ams oil one so i got that. they are spose to be the best filter acording to ams oil but little pricey.

Alright HITMAN do you actually think Ford specifically designed their Motorcraft filters for their cars? Do a little research go to the store buy a motorcraft filter a fram filter, a purolater filter, etc. cut them open and compare the filter media, you'd be surprised at just how identical they are. Allied Signal produces a majority of the filters and sells them to different companys who paint and label them. I used to work for CSK Auto and found this out through retail training = always try to sell the more expensive product not necessarily the better one.

The Purolator Pure One is identical to Motorcraft FYI. You save $2 by buying the Motorcraft filter though.
