No. see edit above.

Yes it would be pointless.

Get a different MAF adapter. One that is "not" smaller then the MAF. 'nuff said

The adapter I have is smaller (inside dima.) then the MAF.
It came with my BAT filter.

So I should:
A) get new MAF adapter and filter. (Dont really want to.)
B)Chuck the screen and open up the adapter to match the MAF
C)Leave it the way it is cause the intake pipe is about the same dima. as the adapter.

So.. A, cause I dont think my BAT filter will fit on a bigger MAF adapter.
Anybody know of sources for a larger adapter/filter

I would like to go with B but since I cant realy open the inside dima. of the adapter its kind of pointless, but I really like my BAT filter and want to keep it on there.

ok I went and took some measurments of my intake parts.
these are all inside dima.'s
SVT TB UIM side 2 3/8"
BAT Pipe TB side 2 5/8"
Pro MAF downstream side 3"
Pro MAF upstream side 3 3/8"
MAF adapter 3 1/8"

So I think if I just match the adapter to the MAF to smooth out the flow it will not restrict that much cause the other side of the MAF has a smaller i.d.

Any thoughts?

oh ya BTW I'm not gona use the screen. Thank for the info on that.
