I think this little item might make a nice addition to someone's Contique. Note the fan speed control doubles as the A/C on / off switch so you can have the A/C on AND select any vent position. Imagine that!

I know the arrangement of the dials is reversed from the North American Contique layout, but I'd imagine it would be a fairly straightforward install.

I put a switch on the the line for the low pressure switch years ago.

I thought it was just assinine you could not run bi-level without the compressor running full time. (which robs about 25% of your power )

Would a part like this actually work to manually turn on/off the AC ?

In addition, any chance someone (like DemonSVT) has a "how-to" on adding a switch for this function?. Not having a manual switch for the AC is about the only thing I don't like about my 99SE.
