. . . on a 1999 Silver/Tan Mazda Miata with 49,009 miles. Been looking for a convertible for about three months and found exactly what I wanted. I am now officially a multiple car owner (time to update my sig). Anyone with any Miata related advice???

I believe the webpage was www.V8miata.com. Been a while, but it's an LT1 vette engine dropped into a miata. Totally stock from outside appearance too. Just sick as hell. Do it!
Either way, Miata's are nice li'l cars with alot of potential in just about every aspect of driving, so good luck with 'er!

Cool beans, Ben! I've driven a few miatas and I know what all the hype is about! They really are a lot of fun.

I know there's a HUGE miata group in CO. Grand Junction has a cool shop called "Flyin' Miatas" and they have a great website, too. IIRC, there's a lot of maintenance and performance info on that sight. Lots of performance parts, too.

My Miata-related advice to you: get a cute dog to ride shotgun and you'll be the ULTIMATE CHICK MAGNET.

Sweet! I've heard about turbo charged miata's that have handed many a$$ wompings to unknowing victims.

If not that route, I second the small dog riding shot gun

I have seen Flyin Miatas before. They absolutely rule for FI Miatas.

I probably won't do a ton of mods right away. I'm going to be short of cash for awhile after this purchase. Eventually . . .

We will have to get together when I move to the Springs next week ! I love Miatas, but I cant fit in the drivers seat, and the pedels are to small. I always push the gas and brake at the same time, but the handling is awesome ! I got it on 3 wheels once when I wedge myself into one. lol My wife loves them, I all most bought her one, but she said she wanted a trunk for all her shopping ! lol I would like to see it though. -B.
