I warped the VC in my Clarion, and I get a new one for free! YAY! At least that's what I would be saying if they could replace it. You see, they haven't made them for a while, so now we are in talks. Clarion says that my V12 shouldn't have been able to do that, which is why they're giving me a new one. Why does this suck? Because it will be a while (probably a couple months). Now, I ordered a Lambda sub last month, they say it will be a couple weeks at least since Lambda just moved into a new warehouse. So in the meantime, I have to go bass free. I have the HU adjusted and have the front 6.5s putting out 30-300Hz, but it sounds like a tard farting in a washtub. Why do the gods mock me? That stupid moose in the Cutlass gets bass, why can't I have it too? WHY?!! Even the retarded high school kids in thier Toyota Echos get to have bass. For the love of god! My girlfriend laughed at me because her car's stock system currently sounds as good as my car's. Dog gonnit, gee-whizzz... I blame society... and the US... they screw everything up... the end.

Know what else sucks? It's July 4th so you guys are all out getting drunk celebrating this joyous event and nobody is left here to entertain me. I'M SO LONELY!!! I know, I will entertain myself by typing the words to various sesame street songs!
I lost my cookie in the disco! diiiisco! I lost my cookie in the funky music! I lost my cookie in the disco! I lost my coookie in the middle of the dance floor!
This is the song, la la la la, Elmo's song, I wrote the words, I wrote the song, well sort of.
One two three four five six seven eight nine ten eleven twelve, doo doo doo doodoo doo doo doodoodoo doodoo doo, doo, doodoo doo!
Rubber ducky, your the one, you make bathtime so much fun, rubber ducky hmm hmm hmm hmm hmm hmm hmm (I can't remember the words)
Well that wasn't any fun... this sucks! Why isn't there any other people from Saskabush in here... stupid moose don't know how to use a conputer... I'll show them... oh yes... they will pay... the end.

Ah, my fellow Canuck!
Not all of us were wasted on the fourth.
I feel for you and your lack of a bass-ic stereo, but I have the BAS-IC stereo. Actually, not true -- I have some pioneers in the doors.
HOWEVER,
I was all set to plunk down a chunk of cashola for a new HU, but then (when my tire blew on the highway) I remembered I needed to get some new tires, so there went my stereo money.
Blah, Phooey. I suppose I could dump it on the credit card, but I hate being in debt.
AND -- worse yet, I have an 8 hour road trip (each way) in August, and I really really wanted the new HU by then. Maybe the money gods will smile on me, or people will donate to the JAZZMAN FUND FOR MODDING CONTIQUES, which hasn't seen a single donation since I incorporated the charity a few months ago.
Slackers.
Good luck with your lambda, and let me know how it goes -- how much $C did it run you all in?

The Lambda was $199 US. With shipping that made $378 CAN. It better be good or Dave will get a letter bomb shortly after... he will not suspect a thing... I might be able to help you as far as the HU goes. It's an older Alpine deck but it puts out great sound. My cousin is upgrading, if you are interested, I'll send you the model number and what he wants for it. Then you can poop on your factory HU and send it to an Amish farm where it will be burned as it is evil... eeeeeeeeeevvvvvvvvvviiiiiiiiiilllllll!
