I also prefer chamber music. I can see how you could think his voice can get annoying. I think it's funny/strange that other people hear coal chamber and can't understand a word he's singing but I can hear every word perfectly. I guess that's part of why some people don't like hard rock, because they're pansies.

Yeah...it looks to me like this thread is for those who like Slipknot and specifically for those who have heard the new CD, or at least know of it. Those of you who don't like the genre of music, obviously your opinion will be biased, and thus, your opinion means little to nothing, and will contribute nothing to this discussion. Posting "Slipknot sucks" or any variation of the idea, does absolutely nothing, except disrupt the discussion, and make yourself look like an immature little prick.

So, I guess what I'm trying to say, is, shut the [censored] up.

When someone opens a thread about Eminem or Garth Brooks or whatever the hell you other people like, feel free to post about it. Until then, let's at least pretend to act like we're older than 14.

I've heard some ICP, and what I've heard isn't very pleasant to listen to. I think the mentality of the "clowns" is that of a 7 year old. I'm glad Eminem waved a gun at them or whatever.

i'm liking all the killswitch engage that i keep hearing and i remember hearing a single or two from chimira (sp?) and liking it alot too.

Doesn't Mushroomhead have a new album out? Man I need to get to best buy and check out some cd's

they had a new album months ago (maybe i'm even thinking of last year)...so maybe they do have a brand new album out. havent heard any news yet.
