Not really a problem just looking for advice.

My car has 63,xxx currently. I got the car with 47k, and had a shop pull the drain plug at 48k. Then I pulled it at about 59k.

I'm thinking of pulling the plug again just to get some more old fluid out. I was also thinking of paying a shop $80 to hook up a machine to it and get all the fluid out and then I dont have to worry about it till 94k. I'm hesitant to do so only because I dont think the fluid was ever changed before I got, almost nothing else was, coolant was still original, so was the freaking air filter, so I dont think they would do the tranny and not the coolant. Also I'm hesitant because I,ve heard it isnt good to flush all the fluid out because something to do with the fluid have tranny particles in it, and that having all new fluid at once could cause failure.

Anyways what should I do, pull the drain plug, or just have a shop remove all the fluid?

thanks

Well, if your transmission is shfting fine, with an occasional hard shift and all that..

Id just get a shift kit put in. Fill it back up with some fluid, and your pretty much 70% changed, since you can never get all the fluid out from drain fill.

The shift kit is ideal for the CD4E. Remedies hard shifting, and inproper downshifting.

Iv heard nothing but bad results from the flush, but who knows. Try it if you want..
