I'm in the process of flushing my coolant.

I've drained the coolant, refilled with water and cleaner and have ran it for 10mins with heat on max. Next, it says to let engine cool before draining and continuing.

How long is enough ?? I've left the hood open to let air get in. It's been about 30mins so far.

Thanks ...

My best guess is just to dip your finger in your Reservoir tank and make sure the water/cleaner is cool enough that it won't scald you when you replace it with coolant, and it leaks on you. I need to flush my engine soon as well, so good luck with it!

Thanks.

I'm astonished at the amount of crap that has come out of the radiator. Chunks ! ... and this stuff has only 25k miles on it. I'm sure there are a lot of people out there with a lot more miles on their coolant.
