Hi All,

Got a 70sq foot roll of brown bread last week and am preparing to do the entire floor back thru the trunk area.

One question though: How do I remove the lower bench of the back seat in my 2000 SE?
I tugged and pulled at it once to no effect.

Tia,

rhogue confused

As far as I know, you just need to tug on the front bottom edge.

you have to pull hard. thats what I did anyway..there may be a more elegant way to remove them but after much frustration pulling very hard was how I did it(there are only 2 clips holding that thing down).

At both front corners there is a spot where the seat carpet meets a vinyl piece that runs across the front. Right about where the vinyl and carpet meet is about where the clips are. Just put one hand on the outside of the corner and the other hand on the inside of the corner and pull straight up. You'll have to pull kind of hard, especially if it has never been removed. After the clips are loose push forward(towards the rear of the car) and pull up. There are two small hooks that point backwards. They're very small and you shouldn't have to push too far back. Good Luck. laugh
