I have a small question I am hoping someone who has done a complete (3.0 uim lim etc..) swap can answer. I am to the point where I am bolting up the UIM and I was looking for a little insight on how you guys reroute the vaccum lines to the UIM... As you guys (who have done it) know, nothing lines up.... just wondering what your solution was. Thanks in advance....

Are you talking about the small vac lines 2mm size vac lines? Green, red, white etc?

No, that of course is the easy part. I'm talking about the PCV mainly... It mounts to the oil seperator then comes out with a hose, it's ony about an inch away from the boss on the UIM , and the UIM boss sits if not even, a bit lower that the PCV valve. just wondering what people did to plumb it up, and even to reduce it to fit the PCV.

The PCV is inside the "box" 3L. It's a non servicable part. You just use the 3L rubber tube that goes to the largest hole under the TB.

I'm sorry for the "stupid question" but I need to back up.... in the 2.5 the pcv mounts in an uprighted hose leading from the trap in the valley between the LIM. then, the pcv splits to 2 and one leads back through the fire wall (I believe ending up to a charcoal canister), and then the other leads to the UIM. Is this the same for the 3L?... I was under the assumption that it was. If this is so, I was wondering on how everyone went about connecting the largest boss in the bottom of the UIM to the matching connection on the PCV..... If I am way off, I apologize and would appreciate any help that you have to offer. Thank You.
