On the plug running to the solenoid pack there are about 10 different color wires and I need to know what wires I need to cut so I can shift my car manually through the gears because I have a computer problem that causes the transmission to act up when it takes codes from the computer and it does all kinds of whacked out things so which wires do I need to snip to manually shift my gears in my CD4E

P.S. I was told I could do this by my auto mechanic (ford dealer) the total costs of the repairs is $1200 and I spent $130 on the car and will not spend much on this car cause its a junker 1995 ford contour gl 2.0 (ZETEC) auto (CD4E) he wouldn't tell me the wires cause he would have to charge me..........

Fordhater, I'm sorry but this sounds crazy. I serously doubt if "manually" shifting is goint to solve your problems. IF you have problem shifting, rebuild the valve body, put in a shift correction kit, replace the sol pack and/or tss sensor....sheesh cutting the wires is almost like cutting your own throat...
