I am considering getting one from Advance Auto Parts this week and im wondering is it worth it? Also, where can I put it? Is there a place under the dash I could place it?

The best spot for the tube is under the edge of the dash near the under dash light location.

I disconnected the underdash lighting and use the power to it as a trigger to a relay that feeds the neon module 12v from the battery. I also added a switch in the circuit so that can turn all neons and LEDs off if so desired.

If you have an alarm, hooking this switch through the alarm is very cool. The blue LED in the middle of the picture is on my alarm. When I unlock my doors the LEDs and Noens turn on just as the interior lights would.
