Go here http://www.fastcougar.com/forums/categories.cfm?catid=48And click on the link for the Turbo FAQ and enjoy. Since you have a return fuel system and an ATX it's a little easier and harder to turbo, but the basics are the same. Lentech transmissions made a custom ATX for focus-power.com and it just ran 11.88 at the last Ford Fun Weekend. Not cheap though.

Not after he said he was planning to run a turbo off just 2 cylinders.
I figured everything else was moot at that point.
Precisely.

can you even run 2-3lbs of boost on a turbo?
Zetecs can handle around 8lbs of boost with no problem as far as I know...of course you're gonna need bigger mAF, injectors and a chip for tuning but thats automatic for any FI setup.
Never would you build a turbo setup without those because you couldn't run any noticeable boost without it...
but just like Seawulf said, read the turbo FAQ. I believe I have learned quite alot from looking around the internet for turbo info.

I know how a turbine works, and I know how the vaccume lines, downpipe, and everything else functions.. I was just questioning about spooling off of 2 cyl lol.. and the T3t403 is a ceramic ball bearing for faster spool time.. I was wondering about that as well...
I hepled install a T3T40e hybrid on a 96 integra, it spools 15 lbs @ > 2,600

Nobody who knows the Zetec engine likes the T3/T4s for it. For a cheap decent spool and power the standard T3 super 60 is a good choice. For a quicker spool then some people like the "Disco Potatoe" GTR...whatever. Most consider the T3/4s too big, remember the Zetec is basically half as efficient as those Honda engines, though the Zetec makes way more TQ.

In the end you still have the ATX, which will explode!

yeah, I was reading my post in the transaxel fourm, about costs to get a ATX to accept the level of stress that the turbo will provide.. It would be pointless to invest that much money. I would be better off buying a broken 98 6cyl 5speed(blown engine) for around 1,500 and building a 3L etc..
Thanx for all the info though!
