Hello all. The sound from my front speakers, which are driven by an amplifier separate from my CD player, fades in and out and sometimes is only half as loud or as quarter as loud as it should be. This variation in sound occurs during all driving conditions, but I notice signifcant changes when traveling over bumpy roads or when hitting a bump. Sometimes the sound cuts out altogether for a minute or two at a time then mysteriously reappears. My amp ground wire is screwed into the bottom of the trunk, underneath the gray carpet. My question: Could a poor ground connection cause these symptoms?
