Hey, I just had my Koni/eibach setup installed on my 98 SVT by a buddy of mine an me who work at Porsche Audi, (hes a technician). Along with the front struts and springs we installed the BAT Camber plates. I need an alignment bad. My wheel is slgithly turned to the left when going straight, and pulls slightely to the left with no resistance on the wheel. I also obviously have some toe in , and a good deal of negative camber. How long do I have to wait to get an alignment?, and how do I explain to the alignment people how to adjust the camber plates. Thanks
Griffin
P.S. There is a lot of vibration through the wheel except when turning right. Is this caused by the tow in or excessive negative camber?

An alignment needs to be done immediately. The installation of the camber kit requires immediate alignment preferably before the car is driven more than a few feet to the alignment rack.

Take the camber kit instructions with you to the alignment shop so they can see how to make the adjustment with the kits installed.

If you don't do this right away, you will need new tires to go with the alignment.

He is taking into account the additional drop the car will see after it is settled, there is no point in aligning the car twice in two weeks. I would reccomend waiting a week.

thats not how i read his post. it sounds like he's asking how many miles he can put on before the alighnment and ruining the tires. with a very bad alignment its possible to ruin a set of tires in a few hundred miles BUT i would not do it. basically try to do it asap. bring the camber instructions to the tech and they'll know what to do. finding a shop with a hunter wheel alignment setup is sweet too(thank god i have a shop to go to with this)

The extra drop from settling is miniscule. Probably only worth a couple minutes of negative camber tops.

DEFINITELY get the car aligned ASAP.
