I do not believe even a 350whp contour could reach a accurate 180mph. You need more than gearing and redline. Power is needed when your pushing that much air at that speed. I would say the motor would blow up shortly after if you did make it or just blow from so much load before you got to 180. But thats just my experiences. My friends turbo vette, has problems reaching 190mph and his vehicle is more aerodynamic, and has a much taller gear and a 6 speed... And by which i do not mean pegging his 180 speedo. 180 on his speedo is actually 169mph.

I know, I was kidding man. I know my slushbox Contour won't get anywhere near that. Not enough altitude in Florida to drop it from!
