I'm posting this on the long shot that somebody in STL area can help or give advice who can help with my cat gutting including the deinstall and welding/cutting part. Doesn't seem like a job for an ordinary mechanic.

I have the p0420 code and intend to gut the cats and put MILs in. I'm not doing it just to gain 2 hp or better sounds although that would be nice.

Actually, I would travel to somewhere to have it done by somebody who likes beer or $$$ and has done it before. Just name your beer. I have done struts/springs/brakes/etc but I'm nervous about this one and would like help from somebody who has done it.

Thanks,
D

You might drop Buckshot a PM and see if he might be able to help you. Buckshot Motorsports may have an exchange program. He's just a stones throw away in Des Moines!
