Found a TIG welder, and he's fixing that thing as we speak. The guys there at the machine shop didn't think it would be too big of a deal, I mean that hole isn't even threaded, and there's other dowels and shiz that hte tranny can hold on to as well.
They're welding that thing back in place though, and drilling it out for me so it should be nearly as good as new.
Bullet dodged. For now.

Ryan, THis is an engine, not an exhaust that can be welded up and " well this is close enough" If I was spending that kinda cash...I'd not put that on my car. My .02$

Blocks are cut,chopped and welded up all the time. But since its new, I would have made them send a new one, but I suppose time was probaly in issue.

Actually, it worked out just fine. Got the tranny bolted up quite well actually. Shouldn't have any problems.
