definitely glad I installed mine in the Cougar.
haven't noticed any funny wear in the tires.
Went right in, no problems with pinching or things getting in the way. I have an OMP bought used off of another Cougar owner.
one thing I noticed after installing it on the cougar is that the front stiffened up so nice, I could tell that the ass end needed stiffening, so I installed the rear stb and now both ends are sooooo sweet.
