my B&M shifter installed and i honestly think that this is my favorite mod yet!!! Just wanted to recommend this mod to anyone who does not have it yet.

Is it just the shift knob or the whole short throw shifter?

I don't know if its my favorite, but i definately agree with it being a great mod. Its like night and day difference!

Totally sold out for a 90 GT vert.... 1/4 mile is almost the same as my modded svt w/n2o was...

As far as I'm concerned, shift knob is not considered as a mod... plus B&M is the only company that makes short throw shifters for 98+ Contours, so it has to be a short throw shifter that he is talking about.

actually Steeda makes a short throw as well.

This is true. I have a rod connection but I did try stock and Steeda and the Steeda makes it almost as smooth as my rod shifter.
