OP fordhater CEG\'er F Joined: May 2004 Posts: 55	My transmission shifts hard and clunks when downshifting to 1st gear and when you shift into 1st gear at like 20 mph+ the tires lock up for a quick second then its fine..........most likly internal but eh 1995 Ford contour 2.0l zetec automatic CD4E Last edited by fordhater; 06/02/04 02:14 AM.

OP fordhater CEG\'er F Joined: May 2004 Posts: 55	Even if that was normal it downshifts hard to first unless on the gas..........also when I have er down and it shifts from 1st to 2nd the tires squeak and that shouldn't happen on a 2.0l automatic trannsmission...............? I have driven automatics that have 200+ HP and that dont happen
