I know thsi has probably been asked loads of times before but I don't seem to be able to come up with anything on the search.
Waht I'd like to know is;
Is it Ok to fit a UD alternator pulley along with UD P/S pulley & a DMD? what are the advantages/disadvantages of this?

Cheers in advance guys

Mark

Sunny England?

It should be just fine to use all three pullies. Advantages - probably salvage a few hp from the alt. and the p/s pump while giving them a little extra life (high rpm abuse).

I was just going to ask how people install the P/S pulley. Can I hijack your post?

That's the preferred combination for better noise, vibration and harshness (NVH).

That's the set up I have. Good smoothness on revs from the DMD plus less weight/more power with the pullies by a hair plus my alternator isn't being thrashed.

Check this !

Have any questions, shoot me a PM. I am running Alt, P/s, and DMD. I have yet to start the car yet, but I am sure it will be fine.

can i hi-jack this post too?? i have been wondering about the same thing but a UD crank pulley instead of a DMD and no alt pulley?? i know that the DMD is better for vibration and engine safety but i dont really have the time or money right now to do both and i am getting the p/s soon. my stereo is a wee bit to much for an alt pulley so will i be ok? im sure i will notice small gains but ive blown my engine once already and id like to know opinions for peace of mind
