So, at a track how would a SVT Contour stand up in autox, 1/4 mile, and Laguna Seca to:
1. 1976 fiberglass carbureted (308GTB) 2. Steel bodied carbureted (308GTB) 3. Steel bodied fuel injected (308GTBi) 4. Steel bodied fuel injected, quatrovalve (308GTBiQV)
thanks in advance

now, i am by no means a ferrari expert but one would imagine that if the ferrari were in good shape it trounce the csvt. thats the car from magnum p.i. iirc. very cool. even if you lose atleast you can honestly say it was to a ferrari and you will not lose face. there was one ferrari which was a slug with an automatic but i do not believe it was the 308.

The fuel-injected ones with the 2V heads are the slowest... probably a drivers race against a CSVT (in a straight line at least). The others are all much faster.

I don't live in Houston and I don't drive a Contour anymore. Maybe I should change my name.

yeah what ever happened to.... I don't know going to a track and ummm maybe racing cars? everyone would rather race from their computer chairs instead of going to the track
all these people need to get off their butts and goto a track and who cares if you lose.... some of my best runs have been against cars I had no chance in beating.
2003 Subaru WRX some mods
Even if you don't have the answer, you certainly have to admire the problem.

I raced an 82 Quattrovalvole from a roll, it lost. But nice car, and it sounded fast.
