I had the BAT Euro kit installed a couple of months back and have had no problems with it at all until this morning. Going to lunch I heard a nasty clunking noise up front, so I popped the hood to check it out. Turns out that the very top of the strut where the threads are had broken off. Of course this means the strut is shot on my daily driver, but I was just wondering if anyone else has had trouble with this on the BAT struts? Do you think I have any case for a warrantee replacement? I hope so, like many of us here I'm a broke college student that really can't afford the strut or the time without my car right now. Thanks in advance.

If the threads stripped I would say possibly faulty installation. If the stud / shaft broke I would talk to BAT.

I have this kit, installed it, and have no problems.
