Hi, All! I'm Todd, SCPOC's vice pres. and events coordinator, and ProbeTalk.com's 1st gen Probe maintenance and performance forums moderator. As you all know we are trying to organize the CEG/SCPOC/SD6 joint meet again this year. I hope more of you will be willing to join us for this year's outing. Last year was a blast and CEG came representing! The official date is Saturday, July 10, 2004. The events will be a cruise through the hills from oceanside (near there) to Lake Elsinore with an afternoon bbq. SCPOC is doing the planning. All you have to do is show up, have a good time, and volunteer to help with the bbq! Here is the link to the informational thread in the SCPOC forum on ProbeTalk: http://forums.probetalk.com/showthread.php?t=1701096979Also, here is the link to the informational thread on mx6.com: http://www.mx6.com/forums/showthread.php?t=99068&page=7&pp=15I hope to see many of you return and a couple new guys join us for the run this year.

Sounds good. Since I'm already waaay north of Oceanside, can one of you SD guys coordinate w/ me (i.e. call me) so that I can meet up while the caravan is en route? I'll likely have some local CEG stragglers with me, too. PM me for my cell number. As an aside: Wow. They have a VP of planning and events? I guess SoCal CEG is like "Lord of the Flies" in comparison.

No worries on how far you have to travel. We've got cars driving from near the Mexico border and from as far north as Magic Mtn (I think). If you're looking to caravan, then I recommend joining ProbeTalk.com and hooking up with some people who are attending. We're usually pretty good at getting a caravan together. And actually, I'm the Vice Pres of SCPOC and (one of) my roles is event coordinator.

Larry (lbkhmerpimp)- RICE krispy treats, chips, sodas, napkins, paper plates. 5. John (A fellow mx6er in my area) - ????
From PT: 1. Todd (anomaly) - drinks/sodas 2. Damon (dmark101) - utensils, chips, infamous dip 3. Cristian Luna (chris619) and i'm bringing some beers and chips 4. Chuck (c-man) - beer, polish sausages, french rolls, ice chest w/ ice 5. Ray (eulogyskatr) - hamburgers and buns, techno music! 6. Steve (General Stalin) Money, booze (Jim Beam), whatever else... just let me know 7. Josh (DOHCtimes2) - more chips 8. Martin (volcomchester18) - more sodas 9. The deal with the list: Attendees and what they are volunteering to bring for the bbq. As can be seen, it is shaping up to be a good event. I hope more of CEG will show up.

hey guys, i'm damon and i am the current acting president of SCPOC. i see todd's already been here to hype up this event. it was fun to have you guys out, especially since i already knew one of the members (jim bandy) beforehand. i was pretty enthusiastic that we'd get you guys to come out again. this time we're hoping for more mx-6's to show up and compliment the probes we're going to have out this day. since this is going to be a cruise/bbq meet, please take the time to download the cruise itinerary. it's available in both Word and Acrobat format. also, we typically coordinate our caravans using FRS radios with subchannels. if you guys have them, please bring them with you and set them to channel 9 sub 15. if you don't have subchannels, please let us know and we'll try our best to accomodate everyone. the cruise will start promptly at 10:30. it will take us through temecula, idyllwild, along the 10/60/215 to perris, then finally ending at lake elsinore. we'll be in the same park as last year: the city park/boat launch. cost to park is $10 and we do have in/out privileges should anyone need to pick up something after they've arrived. this site was chosen because we'll be allowed to park our cars close together and it's more convenient for us not to have to lug all that stuff a long way. :P anyhow, hope you guys can make it out and make it a great multi-car meet.
