I have the power wired to the battery, the ground is attached to the subframe underneath the trunk, RCA's from the HU to the amp along the passenger side, the power lead is spliced into the power antenna lead. Any help??

I agree, that could be an issue. If not, check to see if your HU has a amp turn on output. It usually has more voltage than the power antenna lead.

I will change the power lead to a stronger out. This could be the problem even though I have power to the amp?? Could the amp possibly be not getting enough power?? Thanks for the advice.

One thing I noticed while installing a friends amp one time was a faulty ground. The amp powered on and everything it looked like it was fine. The problem was the the ground wasn't connected firmly enough and the amp wasn't getting enough power to run the speakers(but enough to turn on the red amp light)Make sure the ground isn't on a painted surface. If it is sand that surface down and then re-ground it.
Did the amp recently just stop working???
More info will help.

The amp isn't new. I had it in a vehicle I traded in a couple of years ago, and just never got around to installing it. It was working when I took it out. Good call on the ground, I'll check it and let you know!

Just wanted to tell everybody thanks! I used all of your suggestions. It ended up being the ground. There was a small piece of rubber in between the ground wire and the frame that I couldn't see cause it was dark when I was finishing it up. Everything works like a champ!!
