I'm sorry. I did searches, I read the FAQ, i did it all.

I must just be stupid, because i get real spaced out when i read all of the terminology and try to put two and two together. I don't want to mess up.

Goal:
20 inch rims.

Suspension: available to do this?

or will 20's rub during a turn?

what is the biggest i can get away with in combo with suspension change?

just a few questions i have.

Thanx

You can get away with 17s with no rub...and a drop.(although some people get rub with the 17's...its minor)
Once you hit 18's you're gonna rub. Drop or not.

No one has ever done 20"s they have done 19"s but that is guaranteed rub without heavy heavy work to the car. Even with some fender rolling, cutting, etc. you'll still rub some with 19"s. I think a good many people have achieved no rub with 18"s.

lol trying to go for something different. I love my contour. I figure if i love my girlfriend i buy her an expensive shiny ring. I love my contour so i buy her expensive shiny wheels. right?

maybe a suspension that would give it clearance enough for 20's, that will allow a smaller amount of body work? i understand the wheels will rub with the way the turning is set up. if anyone is feeling creative, add it up see if it might work. I know i have found wheels that will supposedly fit it, but i know i'll still get rub. can't get longer axles cause of the brake placement. i dunno, maybe i'll just go 17 or 18 and make them REAL shiny.

holla

I can tell that you do not own 19s Kremit(or darpinian). I ride on 19s w/a drop and did not have to do heavy heavy work, I did not even have to roll fenders or anything close to what your post implies.

All that is required is a little trimming where the bumper meets the fender since that area sticks out about a half inch further.

I say go for the 20s, I love my 19s and have no regrets about getting them.
