Oddly enough, I am an avid SUV hater...I bought one of these as a winter ride a couple years back, ended up wrecked when someone hit me head on, so I got another.

I'm finding myself doing more of the following than autocross lately...hopefully I haven't made a full conversion .

The following are some pics of an evening to night time run...taken just after doing some class 4/5 rapids with some friends here in central PA.

Enjoy pics form the dark side...

Posing the rear end flex

Creek crossing

Night Shot...

Almost ran him over...

They look like this afterwards...

And just to show my true joy...she's just taking a break, that's all.

There's nothing wrong with an SUV if you're going to use it. It's those stupid suburban moms that have an Excursion so they can play soccer mom... and then whine about gas prices with all their friends.

Hey Tubs, I just lost my jengajam. Your ghetto pass has been revoked. You're no longer an honorary brother.

That's pretty nice. Very nice land to go off-roading on. In south georgia we just have some paths in our crappy woods with some mud holes.

Someone give this guy a cookie. Thank you.

At least you're using it and it looks like you had a blast. Nice looking truck too, I didn't like them when they first came out, and still don'treally. But that looks pretty badass. Especially being in it's natural enviornment like it should be.

I have a buddy out in VA that takes his Liberty out to trails all of the time. If you are going to buy an off road vehicle, take the [censored] off road!

Way to go.

exactly! if you buy one take it off roading, that's what they are meant for. My boss told some guy when he fixed up a nice blazer, that the first mod he should have done was to take it off roading and find two trees that the truck would barely fit between and go straight through it. that way its got all the scratches and you can go and really enjoy it, without worrying

Nothing wrong with using a SUV for what it's intended for. I miss offroading...it's super fun!

BTW, NICE SVT!

There are a lot of soccer Dad's that have them too. I bought a new Explorer in '97, and it has yet to be put in four wheel drive. In fact, it has never been driven in the winter, or even in the rain. After paying $32,000 for it, I couldn't bring myself to getting it wet or dirty. So it sits all the time in the garage with only 8,000 miles on it. Oh well, somebody is gonna have a helluva nice vehicle when I trade it in along with my Mystique next year.

-Mark- '99 Mystique LS, totally original (including the original water pump and the premium stereo)! Bought new in December 1998 for $21,000. 208,000 miles
